Updated travel guidelines for International passengers at Delhi Airport

19 May 2021

Delhi Airport is committed to ensuring the safety of the passengers flying with us. We have deployed extensive measures throughout the designated airport area to provide the safest flying experience to everyone while complying with the government guidelines.

In the context of the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, in consultation with the Ministry of Civil Aviation, has reviewed the overall situation and issued a detailed guideline regarding entry procedures for International travellers on 17th Feb’ 21

The major highlights of the new and updated guidelines include the following pointers:

  • All International arriving passengers must mandatorily submit a Self-Declaration Form & upload an RT PCR negative Test report on Air Suvidha Portal.
  • Upon arrival, the passengers require to show the test report to the authorities too.
  • Submitting incorrect information on Air Suvidha is a punishable offence, and such action will cater to criminal prosecution.
  • It is a GoI requirement that passengers (arriving from high-risk countries) taking the connecting flight must undergo RT-PCR testing before taking a connecting flight. Click the link for details. ( https://www.newdelhiairport.in/media/1622/latest-guidelines-for-international-arrivals.pdf)
  • Passengers should not attempt an unauthorized exit.
  • It is in their interest of every passenger to abide by the Covid protocol for the safety of themselves & fellow passengers.

Social distancing, careful sanitization and personal hygiene are the need of the hour. While Delhi Airport has been at the forefront of the same, creating benchmarks for safe a flying experience, all passengers should also play their part and practice COVID appropriate behaviour while at the airport.

For travel to be risk-free while you travel through Delhi Airport, we encourage all passengers to opt for a contactless-enabled journey, ensuring minimum touch and maximum caution.
