Delhi Airport has been awarded the 2021 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award for Best Airport by Size and Region (over 40 million passengers per year in Asia-Pacific). Delhi Airport is proud to mention that for the 4th consecutive year, the airport is declared as the Best Airport in the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards by Airports Council International (ACI) which is a people’s choice award where travellers adjudge the ASQ Airports.
Mr. Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, CEO-DIAL mentioned, “We are overwhelmed that our efforts at Delhi Airport are continually being recognized in ACI-ASQ award year-after-year. It is with the joint effort of the employees at DIAL and the stakeholders’ community at IGIA that we are able to consistently improve the service and operational excellence. Despite the trying times of COVID-19, our teams leveraged the best of technologies and other precautionary measures to ensure a safe and seamless experience for passengers while they travel through Delhi Airport.”
In 2021, from over 370,000 surveys, 111 awards have been won by 88 individual airports around the world. The award categories include Best Airports by Size (passengers per year) and Region, as well as Best Hygiene Measures by Region, of which there are 46 winners.
ACI adapts a comprehensive quality control process to the ASQ Awards to ensure the highest quality when determining benchmarking and findings.
Delhi Airport has consistently strived to enhance the passenger experience and operational excellence. This award is a testimony of continued improvements in service delivery.
Recently, to enhance the passenger’s travel experience we commenced operations of the New Arrival Building at the Terminal-1. The new Arrival at Terminal-1 features four new baggage counters, state-of-the-art Meet and Greet gallery, and Modern food-court.
We are grateful to our travellers for their support and as a people’s airport. At Delhi Airport, we endeavour to make your flying experience safer by providing a superior and seamless passengers’ experience to all travellers.
